SUMMARY:Paul-Énéour Yvon And Jianan Hua Live
LOCATION:Casa do Lago by SOI Lisboa
DESCRIPTION:Paul & Jianan is a musical journey through traditions\, place
s\, and imagined landscapes. Bringing together the expressive sounds of g
uitar and charango with the ancient voice of the Chinese **ruan 阮**\, F
rench musician Paul-Énéour Yvon and Chinese musician Jianan Hua create
a musical world of their own — one where distant traditions meet\, resp
ond to one another\, and begin to take on new forms. Rooted in improvisat
ion\, their music travels freely between the Andes\, China\, the Mediterr
anean\, Africa\, and beyond. Melodies appear and disappear\, rhythms shif
t\, and unexpected encounters unfold in the moment. Unbound by genre or g
eography\, each performance becomes its own journey — intimate\, vibran
t\, spontaneous\, and never quite the same twice.
